This idea started out with the idea of a country bedroom. The blank wall of the double sliding doors (8 ft wide!!) was a daily reminder that it was ugly. So..how to make it country?? Louvered doors appealed, and over the course of several months, both doors were completed. (It was my room, I could take all the time I wanted. LOL)  Each day I wondered if all that work was worth it, but each day now (several years later) I realize that it was. Visiting friends always mistake these for the real thing and some have even grabbed at the door knobs!!
